Do you feel that? That little tugging interest in your heart to know God? Is there salvation for your soul?
Don’t worry, there most definitely is! Let’s dive in!
1. Jesus Christ Is the Only Way to Eternal Salvation with God the Father
It is truthful to say that there is no other name erected higher than that of Jesus Christ by God the Father. This is a name raised by God to every man to be saved by. For, whoever believes in Him will be freely granted forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
There is only one faith, one God, one baptism and only one way to The Father. The absolutely only way to have a personal lasting relationship with God The Father is through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus was sacrificed to death on the cross and through Him, you will have eternal life with Him.
Jesus says that no one comes to My Father except through Me. This is because He, and only He, is The Way, The Truth and The Life.
God makes it clear that He will honor no religion. Only His Son Jesus Christ and His sacrifice to death will give people eternal life. You will live with Him eternally in perfect everlasting paradise.
The first four verses prove that Jesus is the only way able to receive eternal life:
- “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
- “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all …” (1 Timothy 2:5)
- “There is one body and one Spirit … one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:4)
- Jesus answered, “ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
- “I am the gate, whoever enters through me will be saved… He will come in and go out and find pasture. I have come that they have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:9)
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in me will live even though he dies. And whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” (John 11:25)
- When Jesus spoke to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
- Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35)
- “I am the living bread that comes down from heaven, If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” (John 6:51)
- “… that everyone believes in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:15-16)
- “ Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.” (John 3:36)
- “I told you that you would die in your sins: if you do not believe that I am the one who I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins, (John 8:24)
- “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will be condemned: he has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24)
- “… And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; He who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:11)
- “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God..” (1 John 4:14-15)
2. God’s Desire Is for All Men & Women To Be Saved & To Have a Relationship With Him
God has given you a free will to choose how to live your life, however there are consequences or rewards for your personal choices. God isn’t in a position to watch anyone perish that’s why He suggests you choose life instead of death. God is gentle that will never force you to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, however there is a major consequence if you don’t.
God desires that everyone be saved through the blood of Jesus His Only Begotten Son. These are three powerful verses to contemplate:
- “… God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)
- “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understanding slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)
- “For there is no difference between Jew and Greek–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:12)
God isn’t making any exception either by gender, race color. Accepting Jesus Christ is a free gift of life to all men and women in eternal salvation as per God’s will. God isn’t a respecter of persons. God loves both men and women equally and unconditionally.
3. Saved By Grace Through Faith – Not By Works
Suppose you believe and understand the death of Jesus Christ, The Son of God who died on the cross for all of us. God will give you the precious free gift of eternal life with Him and through Him.
However, you may be tempted to try and earn your way to Heaven. This can’t be done. All men & women fall short of The Glory of God and His perfect standard.
Yes! Faith without works is dead, but …
You will start working to fulfill your calling according to God’s plan for your life. Even after you get saved, you can become religious and critical. According to The Holy Word of God in 1 Peter 4:10 and Romans 12:6.
You simply need faith and belief in Jesus Christ to receive the FREE gift of eternal salvation. Even though we are required to take action and work for The Lord’s perfect calling for our lives, that work will never have the slightest bit of impact on our salvation, because we can’t earn our way to Eternal Life. Check the verses:
- “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8)
- “… know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ … because by observing the law no one will be justified.” (Galatians 2:16)
- “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law, rather, through the law, we become conscious of sin. (Romans 3:20,23)
4. We Are Made Righteous Before God Through the Gift of Salvation
The Holy Scriptures say that once you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are made perfectly righteous before the eyes of God the Father. The righteous will be imputed to you, and you are free to approach the throne. You can communicate through prayer and live in eternal paradise with Him as well as the beloved brothers and sisters who went before you.
In spite of your sinful nature (thanks to Adam & Eve who first sinned in the Garden of Eden), God will still forgive you as long as you confess it properly when it happens. For no man is perfect neither is totally sinless.
God Is Perfect!
Human beings and angels are NOT!
These two powerful verses show how we were made perfectly righteous and perfectly justified before God.
- “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” (Romans 5:8)
5. How To Be Saved and Receive the Gift of Eternal Life
These things are made very clear by The Word of God which we know as The Holy Bible:
1. Accept that you are a sinner, repent and turn from your evil ways willingly after confessing your sins.
2. Accept from your heart willingly that Jesus came on earth in form of a body. Believe He then died on the cross for our sins. Believe He rose from death on the third day. Believe He is now seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. You have to accept this all willingly from your heart and Him as your personal Lord and Savior. It’s not the prayer itself but the belief in your heart which opens the door for Him to come in and reside inside of you. God knows the intentions of your heart even before you speak the words, yet you still have to say them.
You need to believe in your heart and confess this out of your mouth. You accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior before God the Father. This can be done anywhere at any time. It can be even in your secret place (i.e. at home, school, the office, or anywhere you choose) and not a must to be done in a church building.
Ponder over these verses:
- “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)
- “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:19)
- “That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Are you now ready to set your eternal affairs in order before The Throne of God, Your Creator?
This is the basic salvation prayer.

Dear God,
I believe in my heart that you sent your begotten son Jesus Christ on earth. He came to inform of flesh and died on the cross for my sin and of the world and take them away. He died on the cross and rose on the third day so that we may have eternal life.
Lord Jesus,
I now confess my sins and all things I have done in my life. I ask for forgiveness. Please wash my sins away by the blood of your which you shed on the cross you personally. I am ready to accept you personally as my savior and my Lord. Please come and live with me eternally in my heart.
I believe that I am saved and now I am born again.
Thank you, Father.
Thank you, Jesus.
Welcome, Holy Spirit!
