The Antichrist is a religious figure, not merely a political one. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 states he “opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” The Antichrist claims divine status. He performs “signs and lying wonders.” He’s a counterfeit Christ, not a secular strongman. His appeal is spiritual seduction, not patriotic restoration.
The Antichrist unifies the world under a single system. Revelation 13 describes all tribes, tongues, and nations worshiping the beast. His mark controls all commerce.

The Antichrist’s covenant is deceptive and temporary. The Abraham Accords were real, substantive, and resulted in actual normalization of relations.
The Antichrist unifies all commerce under a single mark. Trump championed cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, and freedom from central bank digital currency surveillance. He explicitly opposed the kind of financial control system that the mark of the beast represents.
The Antichrist persecutes saints for refusing worship. Trump has been the most aggressively pro-Christian president in modern American history, appointing constitutionalist judges, defending religious liberty, and facing persecution from the same institutional apparatus that hates biblical Christianity.
If Trump were the Antichrist, he’d be the most incompetent Antichrist in prophetic history — doing the opposite of everything the Antichrist is supposed to do.

He liberated God’s people from captivity and authorized their return to their homeland.
He funded the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, returning the sacred vessels that Nebuchadnezzar had stolen.
He issued decrees protecting religious liberty — not just for Jews but for all peoples in his empire.
He did all of this without being a believer himself, functioning as God’s unwitting but obedient instrument.

The scriptural answer to that question is yes — emphatically, repeatedly, and often scandalously. The Cyrus archetype demonstrates that God’s anointed instruments don’t need to know Him personally to fulfill His purposes. They just need to be in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing, whether they fully understand why or not.
The Antichrist will come. The Bible is clear on that. But he won’t look like Donald Trump. He’ll look like everything the world has been conditioned to trust: smooth, diplomatic, unifying, spiritual-but-not-religious, technologically sophisticated, globally minded.
