THE DOLLAR IS DYING? DAVID HOLLAND on Gold, Silver & the Financial Reset
How To Prepare For The Collapse of The US Dollar & Coming Economic Crash
The Warning Has Been Sounded. Will You Prepare?
America is standing at an economic crossroads.
For years, watchmen, pastors, economists, financial experts and everyday Americans have sounded the alarm about runaway debt, inflation, reckless spending and the declining purchasing power of the U.S. dollar.
But for those of us looking at these events through a biblical and prophetic lens, this isn’t merely about charts, markets or another financial cycle.
We believe there is a warning from God to prepare.
In our latest EA Truth Radio interview, we sit down with David Holland of Alpha Omega Gold to discuss the potential consequences of America’s monetary direction, the role of physical gold and silver, and how families can become better prepared for serious economic upheaval.
The message is simple:
Don’t panic. Don’t live in fear. But don’t ignore the warning, either.
A Dollar Isn’t Wealth Just Because It Says “Dollar”
One of the greatest financial misconceptions is confusing money with wealth.
A $100 bill may still say $100 twenty years from now, but what matters is what that $100 can actually buy.
Inflation destroys purchasing power over time. When groceries, housing, fuel, insurance and virtually everything necessary for daily life become more expensive, your dollars buy less—even though the number printed on them hasn’t changed.
Meanwhile, the United States has accumulated enormous federal debt.
This raises a serious question every American should consider:
What happens to your family’s financial security if confidence in the dollar continues deteriorating?
Preparation begins by asking that question before a crisis arrives.
Gold and Silver: God’s Money?
This is where precious metals enter the conversation.
Gold and silver aren’t modern inventions created by Wall Street. They have represented wealth and value across civilizations for thousands of years—and both appear repeatedly throughout Scripture.
Genesis 2:11–12 describes the land of Havilah and specifically notes:
“And the gold of that land is good.”
Abraham’s wealth was also measured partly in precious metals:
“Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.” — Genesis 13:2
And Proverbs 22:1 tells us that a good name is more desirable than riches and “loving favour rather than silver and gold.”
Scripture never teaches us to worship gold.
Quite the opposite.
Gold belongs to God.
Haggai 2:8 declares:
“The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.”
That’s an important distinction.
Our faith isn’t in precious metals. Our faith is in Almighty God.
Gold cannot save your soul. Silver cannot replace Jesus Christ. Wealth cannot buy eternal life.
But biblical faith doesn’t require financial foolishness either.
Joseph Prepared BEFORE the Famine
Consider Joseph.
God revealed through Pharaoh’s dreams that seven prosperous years would be followed by seven devastating years of famine. Joseph didn’t respond by saying, “God will provide, so we don’t need to prepare.”
He prepared because God had warned them.
During the years of abundance, grain was stored so there would be provision when famine came.
That principle remains powerful today:
When God gives warning, wisdom prepares.
Proverbs 22:3 says:
“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.”
Biblical preparedness isn’t fear.
It is stewardship.
Don’t Wait Until Everybody Is Running for the Exit
When crisis finally becomes obvious to everyone, options can become limited.
That’s why now is the time to examine your household finances.
Reduce unnecessary debt. Build emergency reserves. Consider tangible necessities your family would need during disruption. Develop additional income streams. Learn useful skills. Understand what you own and why you own it.
And educate yourself about physical gold and silver as part of a broader preparedness strategy.
But dismissing thousands of years of monetary history because today’s financial system feels permanent isn’t wisdom either.
Nothing created by man is permanent.
Our Security Is Ultimately in God
There is an even greater danger than losing purchasing power:
Putting our trust in wealth itself.
Jesus warned in Matthew 6:19–21 against storing up earthly treasure as though it were our ultimate security, concluding:
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
That is the foundation we cannot lose.
Prepare your household.
Study what’s happening.
Become a better steward.
Consider whether tangible assets such as gold and silver belong within your preparedness strategy.
But never make an idol out of your preparation.
Our provider isn’t Washington.
Our provider isn’t Wall Street.
Our provider isn’t the Federal Reserve.
Our provider isn’t gold.
Our Provider is GOD ALMIGHTY.
The economic system may shake. Currencies may fail. Institutions men believed could never fall can fall.
But God remains on His throne.
That’s why this conversation with David Holland of Alpha Omega Gold is about something bigger than making money.
It’s about wisdom, stewardship and preparation for what is coming.
The warning has been sounded.
Will you heed it?
