Are You Helping Kids Go to Hell?

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right. 2 Honor (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother—this is the first commandment with a promise— 3 That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth. 4 Fathers, do not irritate and provoke your children to anger [do not exasperate them to resentment], but rear them [tenderly] in the training and discipline and the counsel and admonition of the Lord.” — Ephesians 6:1-14, AMPC
One night, I went outside to get something out of my car, before turning in for bed. I didn’t bother to turn on the light, but just quickly reached in and got what I needed. The next morning, I went to leave for work. opened the door of my car—and the big yellow-green eyes of a very surprised cat met my equally surprised self!
We just stared at each other for a bit. How in the world could this happen? I thought. The windows were not even cracked!
Then I remembered that, the night before, I had opened the door for just a minute or so,—without the light on. The cat—a total stranger to me–had obviously been waiting right by the door to take advantage of such an opportunity!
That’s just like the enemy, satan, the devil, who is always trying to find a way in. He works in the dark—through ignorance of the Word and ways of God; through anger and strife; through fear and other negative emotions.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” – 1 Peter 5:8, (KJV)
“The enemy, unless he is stopped, is helping our kids go to hell. But God the Father’s plans for them and us are days of Heaven upon earth” – Deut. 11:21
Although children are unaccountable for their spirits and souls until the moment that they recognize the true difference between good and evil in an eternal sense, once they become accountable, the only escape from hell is to receive the LORD Jesus Christ as Savior and LORD (John 3:15-17, Romans 10:13).
The enemy knows he’s defeated, that daily his time on earth–praise God!–is almost over. He hates God and the only way he can get back at God is to hurt mankind, the enemy will sneak in however he can. But often, he doesn’t have to work hard—or at all—because if people, especially Christians, don’t know the Word, then they are easily deceived!
When parents wonder “what in the world” happened to their sweet little kids who “suddenly” turned evil, it is because the many hellish seeds planted in them through the years are now bearing fruit!
The enemy has corrupted every part of this earth that he could—especially the media—and has so blurred the lines between darkness and light, lies and truth, that most people have no idea they are being destroyed day by day by error. This goes especially for children, who, like little sponges, soak up whatever is put in their ears, eyes, experiences.
Just like weeding a garden, mowing the grass, getting rid of junk and sickness and other things we don’t want in our natural lives, tt is our God-given responsibility to recognize and reject negative influences, and remove them as much as possible from our children’s lives, and then to replace it with the Truth of God’s wonderful word! That is where heavenly living is!
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6, AMPC.
In addition, it is our responsibility to live righteously before them, and to teach them to love and live the Word of God.
The LORD will help us. We make the choice to follow Him on purpose (for it doesn’t just happen), and He steps in to our aid: For the Lord God helps Me; therefore have I not been ashamed or confounded. Therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame. –Isaiah 50:7
God’s will is that we and our children know and follow Him and have a wonderful, Heavenly life: That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.— Deuteronomy 11:21, KJV
Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages). — Hebrews 13:8, AMPC
