States Push Orwellian Law Allowing Intrusive Home Visits Without Cause
In a move described by one homeschool advocacy group as something that “only get us closer to an Orwellian world,” state lawmakers are now pushing for intrusive home visits to homeschool families.
While the safety and security of any child is of the utmost concern for all decent Americans, to allow state agents to enter and inspect the home of any American is not only completely unconstitutional, it’s pure, unfiltered fascism.
Iowa HF 272 requires homeschool families who do not report to their school district in conducting their home education to submit to “health and safety visits” quarterly by “the board of directors of a school district.”
