Trump Curse Hits Leftie Skier Hard: Lindsey Vonn Injured in World Cup Competition After Trashing Trump
During an interview with CNN earlier this week, Vonn said she does not compete for the president. When asked how it will feel “competing at the Olympic games for the United States whose president is Donald Trump?” Vonn responded with this:
Lindsey Vonn: “Um, well I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president.”
Vonn was then asked if she would accept an invitation to the White House if she wins gold, she said,
Lindsey Vonn: “Absolutely not. But you have to win to be invited.”
Then this happened…
Lindsey Vonn injured her back on Saturday finishing in 24th place.
She dropped to the ground at the finish line like a sack of flour.
The AP reported:
Lindsey Vonn finished a World Cup super-G in extreme pain Saturday and was treated by race doctors for a back injury.
The American star crossed the finish line in obvious distress, in 24th place and 1.56 seconds behind the winner, and slumped to the snow. She compressed her back on the fifth gate, according to U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
Vonn stayed in the finish house to be treated, and one hour later limped slowly into a waiting car to be driven from the St. Moritz course.
The Trump curse hit her hard.
Hopefully she will be back on her skis soon.
