Rumors of Wars: As Warplanes Scramble, Beijing Paper Calls Taiwan’s Govt ‘an Evil Force the Mainland Must Crush’
The Lord said in the latter days before His return, we’d hear rumors of wars, but this would only be the BEGINNING of sorrows. While the world is going crazy because Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are down, China is in the process of taking over the world.
Patrick Goodenough with CNS News reports:
On Friday, 38 People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) planes penetrated Taiwan’s air defense identification zone (ADIZ) southwest of the island, the largest number ever to have done so on a single day since Taiwan began publicly reporting tallies 13 months ago.
One day later, Beijing then set another new record, deploying 39 warplanes into the zone – 20 during the day and 19 during nighttime hours. An ADIZ extends beyond sovereign airspace, but aircraft entering it are usually expected to report their presence and flight plans to the authorities.
On Sunday, a further 16 incursions were reported by Taiwan’s defense ministry.
The weekend sorties involved a mix of PLAAF aircraft, including Shenyang J-16 strike fighter jets, Russian-made Sukhoi Su-30 fighters, Shaanxi Y-8 anti-submarine warfare aircraft, and KJ-500 airborne early warning and control planes.
The defense ministry said Taiwan responded by scrambling fighter jets, broadcasting radio warnings, and tracking the Chinese planes with air defense missile systems.

Setting yet another record, a total of 52 Chinese warplanes – including 34 Shenyang J-16 strike fighters – entered Taiwan’s air defense zone on Monday, the Taiwanese defense ministry reported.
