Virginia Governor Immediately Calling For Gun Control After Ballpark Shooting
Police Give Update on Scalise Ballpark Shooting
Mike Brown, Alexandria Police Chief reassures the public that the city is safe. Units received a 911 call from Simpson park that there was a shooter and then they were on scene within 3 minutes. Surely there were some heroic actions that took place today.
Five individuals were transported to hospitals to deal with a variety of injuries and treatment yet afterward the FBI Washington District Head Tim Slater backtracks and says he cannot confirm five were injured. He also was a little shady with his backtracking of this “not being an assassination attempt” which he did state at first. There may be fowl play in this event especially considering the Virginia Governor immediately called for GUN CONTROL!
FBI will be taking over investigation. Capitol Police Matthew Verderosa said that Officers have not faced any life threatening injuries.
Governor also addressed and said prayers are with those involved. Its too early to say if its act of terrorism. Again FBI Head Tim Slater plainly stated this was “not an assassination attempt” yet changed his story a bit later saying he “mispoke” and it is too early to tell. They are not aware of any political motivation.
Members of dignitary protection were at the ballpark when it happened and they are surely heroes considering there were also children present.
All personnel statements are being very careful not to confirm 5 injured even when 5 were transported to hospitals for care. What else would this mean? I think they are covering something up. Was a citizen injured by friendly fire? Immediately calling for GUN CONTROL?
