DC Bill Would Allow Children 11 and Up to Be Vaccinated Without Parental Consent
A controversial bill put forth by the Council of the District of Columbia would allow for children as young as eleven years old to consent to vaccination without the involvement of their parents. If passed, the bill would also require insurance companies, healthcare providers, and schools to conceal from parents that the child has been vaccinated.
According to an op-ed by The Vaccine Reaction, B23-0171.3 was unanimously passed by the four members of the council’s Health Committee during a “hastily scheduled” virtual meeting earlier this month.
