VIDEO: College Trump Supporters Kicked Out of On-Campus Coffee Shop For Wearing “MAGA” Hats
Video: College Republicans kicked out of on-campus coffee shop for wearing ‘MAGA’ hats
Two students were kicked out of a coffee shop at Fordham University last week for violating a “safe space” with their “Make America Great Again” hats.
What happened?
Video uploaded by Campus Reform shows a coffee shop manager screaming at two patrons telling them they have five minutes to leave the shop.
“Five minutes, five minutes, get out — five minutes,” the manger told the students with the “MAGA” hats. According to Campus Reform, both students are members of Fordham’s College Republicans club.
“You have no right to do any of this,” one of the students replied. The manager argued that she did in order to “protect” her customers.
“I don’t want people like you supporting this club…no one here wants people like you supporting our club. I am giving you five minutes,” she said. You are threatening the integrity of our club. This is a community standard — you are wearing hats that completely violate safe space policy.”
The manager said the hats — and President Donald Trump — represent fascism and Nazism. But when the students refuted that, she simply told them “three minutes.”
