Help Give Hope to People in the Path of Hurricane Harvey
|
Many people in Texas are finding out their homes and livelihoods have been destroyed, and others are still in the path of dangerous flood waters.
Crisis–trained chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team are in Texas right now ministering to evacuees. More than 100 additional chaplains are on standby to deploy in the coming days. “My heart continues to be heavy for the good people of South Texas as they begin to deal with the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey,” Franklin Graham shared on Sunday. “And the flood waters are still rising in many areas.” Our chaplains are there to share the hope of Christ in this time of crisis and show people that God is “a refuge from the storm” (Isaiah 25:4). As you pray for the people of the Gulf Coast, will you consider donating to the Rapid Response Team to help send chaplains where they’re needed most? |
