The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a life that is pleasing to God and to bear good fruit.
Fellowship with The Holy Spirit & His Work in The End Times
We live in a very dark hour. This world is fallen, evil and corrupt to the core. Jesus said “In this world you will have trouble but take heart for I have overcome the world” – John 16:33 … Who is your comforter when you’re going through trials and tribulation? The answer lies in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity. As Christians, we are privileged to have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit within us. He is our comforter, our guide, and our source of strength in the midst of a broken and chaotic world.
Jesus promised His disciples that He would send the Holy Spirit to be with them after His departure. In John 14:16-17, Jesus said, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.”
The Holy Spirit is not a mere force or influence but a person, fully God, who comes to dwell within believers. He is intimately involved in our lives, guiding us, convicting us of sin, and empowering us to live a life that is pleasing to God.
Furthermore, the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live out their faith in practical ways. Galatians 5:22-23 describes the fruits of the Spirit, which include love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These fruits are evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in the lives of believers, transforming them to reflect the character of Christ. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a life that is pleasing to God and to bear good fruit.
