USNS Comfort Will Depart for New York on Saturday with Trump
President Trump recently posted to his Facebook Page, “Heading to the Great State of Virginia now, will be there shortly. The #USNSComfort is “loaded to the gills” at Naval Station Norfolk, departing for New York City this afternoon.”
“A U.S. Navy hospital ship has the capacity to provide afloat, mobile, acute surgical medical facilities to the U.S. military, and is an optimal platform to provide hospital services in support of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations worldwide”, says the U.S Navy.
USNS Comfort Will Depart for New York on Saturday with Trump, Modly in Attendance
This is the inside of the USNS Mercy Ship which is a “twin” of the USNS Comfort Ship. From my understanding the USNS Mercy is operating on the West Coast and the USNS Comfort (which Trump is on his way to visit) is operating on the East Coast.
