What Is The Church’s Role Regarding Abortion?

Christ Chapel Bible Church in Texas consistently and aggressively addresses the topic of abortion by actively speaking out for the preborn and their moms, while also encouraging members of the congregation to support and come alongside women who’ve chosen life for their children.
While many churches shy away from the topic of abortion (or even condone it), Christ Chapel is setting an example for how to handle it with kindness, compassion, and truth.
In a recent video, Local Outreach Director Lance Cashion explained,
“The issue of abortion is important to Christ Chapel because it’s important to God. Any attack on an image bearer of God is an attack on the image of God. We are called to be a voice and to stand as a defense against those attacks, and that’s what we do…. [Abortion] is not a political issue. It is a life issue.”
