Net Neutrality Voted Down! The End Is Not Near … It Happened Today …
by Will Youngblood | Eternal Affairs Media
Net Neutrality was killed today with a 2-2 vote and the speaker, Ajit Pai, voted on his Republican Party line; leaving a 3-2 vote against Net Neutrality.
A Trump’s Telecom Chief, Ajit Pai had set out on a mission to take down the 2015 Title II restrictions, which basically said, internet is a utility, just like water, electricity, and phone service.
Therefore as a public utility it can not be monitored, slowed, or sped up by content. The ISP’s only job is to take data from 1 location and deliver it at another.
If you are an active member of Facebook or You Tube you know they have already been monitoring and censoring data transfers for a long time now.
Apparently ILLEGALLY, until today….
The Internet was the last truly free, 1st Amendment Rights, place of existence there was…
Now they can legally monitor, control flow speeds for sites/businesses that are not of their Dogma or Financial Group.
Say there is a funny Meme site you like. You enjoy getting instant post updates, you make stuff and post all the time, re-post and like everybody’s stuff and they like yours…Now if a meme they don’t like; might take you and hour and charged $10 for trying to view material the state does not deem fit…Or can now block completely from HISTORY!!!!!
Think about that, only real books will be some what reliable…And who has those anymore?
I do! And you should too while you can still get them!!!!
I have written and made graphics for many atrocity stories over the years…I had become numb… But when I first read ~ This Report on Net Neutrality ~ !
I had never felt so deflated as a truth warrior in my life than when I read that…It depressed me like nothing ever had. It felt like the ultimate feeling of, this is not a joke, we are proper screwed!!!!
Then I got an ear beating from my son’s mother and it snapped me right out! To drown her hate filled energy out of my brain; I concentrated on writing this…And it’s working!
I strongly suggest signing up for our EMAIL NEWS ALERTS in case this site is ever “unreachable” …
